This beautiful cottage is set within the grounds of the famous St Mellion Estate, where you can explore the pristine grounds or make the most of the on-site leisure facilities.
Based in St. Mellion - a 450-acre estate with plenty of leisure facilities - this property fits four people in two bedrooms. Its location on the Cornwall/Devon border makes it well situated to explore further afield, while the on-site facilities make keeping all guests happy a breeze. Go swimming, play golf or simply kick back in the spa.
The single-storey property is airy and spacious throughout, with the main living area being entirely open plan. This fantastic social space is home to a well-equipped kitchen that makes catering on holiday easy. The lounge has a Smart TV to watch while relaxing on the sofas, and the dining area easily fits all guests for mealtimes. The bedrooms are on the same floor. Both have super-king-size beds that are zip-and-link, therefore they can be made into twin beds if required. They also both have their own en-suite shower or bathrooms plus a dressing area each. Outside, there’s a private patio area in addition to the wider estate’s grounds. The shared leisure facilities include swimming pools, a bar, a restaurant, a golf course and a spa.
Further afield, you’ll find that Plymouth is only 12 miles away if you need an urban hit. The vibrant city has an aquarium, galleries and museums plus plenty of shops and restaurants. Pretty towns and villages such as Looe (16 miles) and Callington are nearby too, with the latter being just under 4 miles away. If you are happy to head further away, you’ll find the coastal village of Bigbury-on-Sea (28 miles) in South Devon. It’s extremely popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing, or you can just take a walk over to Burgh Island at low tide.
