Nestled within a complex of properties on the St Mellion Estate, this cottage enjoys the use of shared on-site leisure facilities. It’s the perfect base for couples or friends to explore this special part of Cornwall.

This two-bedroom property is on the ever-popular St. Mellion Estate. Attracted by the wide array of leisure facilities, there is a lot to do and see on-site for all types of guests. Splash in the pools, relax in the spa or get sporty on the golf course. It’s an easy win for entertaining many ages and tastes whilst on your Cornish break.

The inside of the property has a reverse layout - with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living areas above. As such, when you enter, you’ll find two bedrooms off the entrance hallway. There’s a bunk room that’s great for kids, plus a master bedroom, which has a super-king-size bed. It can be separated should you need it to be a twin. The master also benefits from a dressing area, in addition to somewhere to sit, plus patio doors, which take you outside to the terrace. The real wow factor in this room is the freestanding bath. A separate WC completes the accommodation on this floor. The property’s spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the open-plan living space, which is spacious and airy. The kitchen area has every mod-con you should need to cater on your break, while the lounge area has seating made for relaxing in front of the Smart TV. The dining table, in the middle of the room, is a wonderful social space where you can get together for mealtimes. Outside, the terrace has its own garden furniture, while the lounge has access to a balcony. The wider estate has 450 acres to explore, as well as the use of a swimming pool, spa, and golf course.

For the times you want to leave the grounds, there’s lots to do just a short drive away. Plymouth is only 12 miles distant and has museums and galleries, plus an aquarium. The Tamar Valley is a must-do for walkers or cyclists as it is an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty.

An excellent location with very good facilities on site. The whole cottage decor has been tastefully upgraded and so much nicer than when we stayed in one of the adjacent properties before Covid. Ideal for two adults or a family with young children( though the spiral staircase might prove a problem for some) Easy parking right by the front door(no Read moreheavy cases to carry upstairs). We hope to return in the near future as our stay was very comfortable and quiet. Hide

The cottage was in a lovely peaceful setting. It was well equipped and a great location for travelling around Cornwall and Devon.

Lovely, quiet, and very clean accommodation. Beautiful grounds. Hotel swimming pool was lovely, very warm and clean. Well situated for places to visit. Definitely recommend the lost gardens of Heligan.

The Cottage was amazing. Very clean, well decorated and everything we needed for a family holiday. The location was perfect. Really quiet as it is on a golf resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.
