Pull up in your private parking spot (there’s room for two cars) and head to the upper-floor entrance of this glamorous end-of-terrace hideaway. Step inside and you’ll find a glorious open-plan living, dining and kitchen space that has been thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the magnificent sea views. Bathed in natural light, it has two sets of doors opening out onto the sea-facing balcony above the bay – the perfect place for a morning coffee or an after dinner drink. Sofas and armchairs are grouped around the Smart TV, while a large dining table for eight sits beneath feature pendant lighting. Downstairs on the ground floor you’ll find two bedrooms - one king-size and one with a bunk (single above a double below) - each with an en-suite shower room. A further flight of stairs leads to the lower-ground floor, where you’ll discover a master king-size bedroom with an en-suite with a bath and a walk-in rainfall shower, as well as another king-size zip-and-link bedroom (can be converted into a twin on request). Both lower-ground floor bedrooms have lovely sea views and patio doors leading onto the curved patio, where you’ll find a bubbling hot tub.
Walk straight onto the sands of Widemouth Bay (ten metres) and you’ll discover one of the best all-round surf breaks on the north Cornwall coast. Or head north along the South West Coast Path into Bude (3 miles), where the canal trail and Summerleaze Beach provide a brilliantly-active day. Further along the coast, explore the witchcraft museum at Boscastle (8 miles).
