Pull up in your private parking spot (there’s space for two cars) and head to the upper-floor entrance of your luxurious, beachy retreat. Step inside and you’ll find a sleek open-plan living, dining and kitchen space and plenty of seating that makes the most of the large windows that frame the views across the bay. A dining table for ten beneath soft pendant lighting sits alongside the elegant kitchen, and doors from the kitchen lead out onto the magnificent sea-view balcony. Head downstairs and you’ll find two ground-floor bedrooms - a king-size zip-and-link room (can be converted into a twin on request) and a fun bunk bedroom (single above a double) - each with an en-suite shower room and patio access. A further flight of stairs leads down to the lower-ground floor, where you’ll discover three king-size bedrooms, each with sea views and patio doors opening out onto the beautiful curved patio. The first has its own en-suite shower room, while the other two share a family bathroom with bath and walk-in rainfall shower.
Head straight onto the sand at Widemouth Bay (ten metres) and you’ll find one the finest surf breaks on the north Cornwall coast. Or make your way along the coastal path into Bude (3 miles) to try your hand at coasteering, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. While you’re there check out the natural open-air tidal swimming pool at Summerleaze Beach. Further afield, the dramatic valley and harbour at Boscastle (8 miles) are great for hiking – just follow the path through the gorge and out along the clifftops.
