Perfect for families wanting a peaceful escape, with a heated outdoor pool and play facilities, this beautiful wooden-clad holiday retreat is a great base for exploring Cornwall.
This two-bedroom lodge-style cottage on the Notter Mill Country Park complex makes a fantastic retreat for a small family. Just 3.5 miles from Saltash, it’s ideally located for getting out and exploring Cornwall’s craggy coast and idyllic countryside. The light and airy open-plan accommodation is just perfect for families to hang out, making magical memories to treasure forever. Have a blast with the on-site facilities including shared swimming pool (open end of May till early September), kids’ play area, tennis court and your own private hot tub.
The living accommodation is open-plan in this single-storey property and it works really well in an L-shape. The lounge area has large windows and door, double-height roofline with an attractive wood-panelled ceiling and a full-height brick chimney breast with the open fire set into it. It’s cosy, modern and zen all at the same time! The dining area has a table for four, opposite the sleek fitted kitchen. Doors lead outside from the kitchen, lounge and dining area so it feels really airy and open. Sleeping quarters comprise one king-size and one twin bedroom, both decorated in light tones and an unfussy Scandi-type vibe. Sit and stare into space from the furnished patio complete with your private hot tub or watch the kids play on the shared lawn.
There’s stacks to do right here, but you can also take a walk along the River Lynher that runs by the park. Combine it with a walk to the local pub (0.25 miles) if you fancy a treat meal out, or just a tipple. For the adventurous, head to Adrenaline Quarry (8 miles) for all sorts of things to raise your pulse including an aqua park, karting, zip wire and axe throwing (age restrictions may apply). The quaint fishing village of Looe is 12.5 miles and makes a great choice for a day out.
