With a heated outdoor pool and play facilities, this beautiful wooden-clad holiday retreat is a great base for a fun-packed family holiday.
Enjoy a fun family break in this practical and comfortable lodge on Notter Mill Country Park complex. The accommodation is all on one level, so no need to worry about young kids (or old kids!) and stairs. In Notter Bridge, you’re nestled on the banks of the River Lynher making for pleasant strolls and nature-spotting. At your home from home, kids and adults alike will love playing tennis on the shared court, letting loose in the children’s play area or swimming in the heated pool (available end of May to early September).
Enter this wood-clad lodge and step into a spacious L-shaped lounge/kitchen/diner. The open-plan design works really well here, with lots of light, pitched high ceiling, large windows and plenty of room to manoeuvre. The lounge area has all the comforts of home and a wood burner set into a floor-to-ceiling brick chimney. Play games around the modern dining table or just gather to eat holiday feasts rustled up in the contemporary kitchen. Sleeping quarters are calm spaces, with light decor, painted wood-panelled ceilings and modern pine furniture. There’s a generous double and a room with bunks plus an extra single bed. Multiple doors lead outside to your own furnished patio and extensive shared lawns.
Hang out and take full advantage of the facilities providedd or mix it up and take a few days trips. There’s a pub within 500 metres for days when you fancy a treat meal out. The quaint fishing village of Looe is 12.5 miles and is one of many options for a Cornish outing. Visit the National Trust’s Antony, an 18th-century house in landscaped gardens (13miles); or go even further back in time at the Tudor house and impressive estate of Cotehele (9 miles). Adrenaline Quarry (8 miles) will raise pulses for daredevils, but age restrictions may apply.
