Visit Porthtowan village to pop to the pub or shop, or eat out, and the beach where you can swim in the huge tidal pool at low tide, go surfing, rock-pooling and visit the beach cafe. Explore the rugged coastline on clifftop walks along the South West Coast Path, visit St Agnes Head for cracking views (3 miles). Explore cathedral city Truro to go shopping (10 miles), the Tate art gallery at St Ives (18.5 miles), and the Eden Project (29 miles). There are stunning beaches nearby, including at St Agnes (4 miles), Portreath (3.5 miles) and Perranporth (7.5 miles).
