Nearby family attractions include Newquay Zoo, Camel Creek Family Adventure Park, and Tintagel Castle, all within 25 miles.
The stylish retreat sits within an exclusive beachside development, alongside four similar holiday homes. Inside, the single-storey bolthole has a tasteful coastal theme and is bathed in natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and bi-fold doors. The main living space is a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with cosy underfloor heating and an array of colourful seating arranged around a Smart TV. At one end is a kitchen area with glossy units and a chic breakfast bar for sharing mealtimes as a group. The property has three contemporary bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Completing the interior is a stunning family bathroom. Outside, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the sunny decked terrace. The outdoor space also features a heated shower, surf rack, and wetsuit drying area. Private parking is available for two cars.
Take the short, 500-metre walk down to Polzeath Beach, one of Cornwall’s top spots for surfing and water sports (you’ll find numerous surf schools and equipment hire within the village). After a day at the beach, refuel in one of Polzeath’s fabulous cafes or restaurants. The village is also an excellent base for walkers, with scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path leading to nearby Daymer Bay or Rock. From Rock, hop on the passenger ferry to Padstow to explore the picturesque harbour town.
