This quirky converted chapel is in the heart of surfing capital Newquay. With everything on your doorstep, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, it’s the perfect base for a surfing/beaching holiday on the north Cornwall coast with friends or family. After a fun day, come home to your own private hot tub before hitting the town.

The three-storey chapel has been converted into three stunning properties with stylish interiors and lots of original features. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor: two super-kings (or twins), both have Smart TVs and en-suites. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is upstairs with heaps of space for everyone. Cosy up on the sofas in front of the TV after a lovely meal together at the dining table or have a games night. The third bedroom is on the second floor. It’s a king-size with a stunning oak-beamed feature wall, a Smart TV, and a large en-suite shower room. Outside is a private enclosed space with garden furniture where you can spend the evening relaxing in the hot tub.

Newquay is a hotspot for surfing with 12 beaches, it’s also a great place for going out. You can easily do both with two beaches (Fistral and Towan), shops, pubs, and restaurants all less than 400 metres away. Discover the rugged Atlantic coastline on the coastal path towards Watergate Bay (3 miles away) – three miles of golden sand popular with kite surfers – or head to the village of Crantock (2.5 miles), a lovely beach for families with lots of rock pools and swathes of sand to play in. Crantock is also home to two pubs and several tearooms. Have a go at surfing, paddleboarding or kayaking while you’re here and visit the awe-inspiring Eden Project (18 miles away) for a fascinating day out.

Lobster house was beautiful and in an excellent location. John & Suzy were excellent hosts and we cannot recommend all of the 3 properties highly enough! Everything was spot on from the welcome gifts for us and our dogs, to the use of body boards, beach bags and towels etc. during our stay. Very clean & comfortable property - in a great location in the town centre, though the property is set back up a residential side street so you can escape from the hustle & bustle. We had the most fabulous stay at Lobster House in Newquay. The property is in the most perfect location just off the High street and a stones throw from the beautiful beaches. Lobster House is large, luxurious and was full of thoughtful touches. Our stay at Lobster House was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Location is central and perfect. Upon arrival John showed us round the property and it was clear to see the amount of hard work and love both John and Suzy had put into everything. Great space in every room. If you want to be in the heart of Newquay this accommodation is perfect. We stayed in the lobster house with a hot tub. Weve just returned from a week in this beautifully renovated chapel. Everything you would need for an amazing trip. Very modern and to a very high specification, lovely touches such as the Bluetooth mirrors in the bathrooms. Beautifully decorated throughout. Super comfy beds and great living area. The property is newly converted and done to a high finish throughout. It is in a really central location so walking distance to everything including Sainsburys 2 minutes away and the bus station just behind. The hot tub was accessed separately via a gate at the back which was by a main path but robes are provided thankfully so you dont feel so expoRead moresed. Its only a few steps away anyway. Lobster House is a lovely property. The property was central to town, a few minutes walk from the aquarium and zoo. There are plenty of take out places if that's what.you like. The beach was a 5 minute walk. There are lots of small towns to visit with St Ives being about an hour away. The toiletries were of a high quality and in every bathroom The Read moreusual things of cloth, sponge, etc washing and dishwasher tablets. The Lobster House 2 was a great place to stay, very central, easy access to the beach. Great to have an electric hook up for the car and a parking space. The decor was stylish and plenty of seating for six. The hot tub was in a small secluded area with plenty of seating. A very enjoyable week with lots of great restaurants in the area.
