This spacious house is one of three in this beautiful old chapel. It’s in central Newquay close to lots of shops, bars, and restaurants, and two beaches, and has a large outside space with a luxurious hot tub. It’s the perfect base for a break in this trendy seaside resort with friends or family.
A private entrance takes you inside where you’ll find underfloor heating, Smart TVs in every bedroom and the lounge, and a quirky layout. Three of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor: two super-kings and a king. The Master is flooded with light from the bay windows and has gorgeous high ceilings. The family bathroom is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, past the original chapel windows, is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with amazing original features. Relax/dine/cook in here – there’s a Smart TV and a large dining table and chairs. There’s also a separate WC and bedroom number four is on this level, a king with an opulent 3-metre headboard. Head outside via one of the downstairs bedrooms to find somewhere to sit and chill and a secluded deck with a hot tub for relaxing under the stars.
There are shops, pubs, and two beaches less than 400 metres away. You might also want to visit Newquay Aquarium – which has an underwater walkthrough tunnel so you can get up close to the tropical coral reef fish or play a round at Newquay’s golf course. The town is very popular with surfers, with 12 beaches in all spread across seven miles of golden sand – Fistral beach is meant to have the best breaks in the UK. There are stunning coastal walks on the South West Coast Path or spend the day exploring the biomes in the global garden of the Eden Project 18 miles away.
