Set within a whimsical woodland location not far from St. Ives, this family-friendly holiday home offers rest and relaxation with a perfect balance of coastal adventures and countryside activities. The nearest beach, Carbis Bay, is less than 3 miles away boasting a plethora of activities from sea swimming and rock climbing to tennis which is sure to keep all ages entertained.

As you wander inside from the gorgeous green woodland through the double doors, the open-plan living area invites you in with two comfortable sofas, a dining table for four and a spacious monochrome kitchen. All around are thoughtful touches to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from the handpicked pictures on the wall to the quaint bookshelf filled with holiday reads. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, decorated in hues of blue with stunning views through the windows. Completing the bungalow is the shower room with a double shower. Back outside, a patio area and picnic bench offer the option to dine alfresco in this magical location whilst elsewhere in the park you’ll find facilities such as a swimming pool, table tennis and play area.

St. Ives (4 miles) is a must-visit during your stay. Wander the cobbled streets in search of one of the fine art galleries such as the Tate St. Ives, peruse the many independent shops and eateries to your heart’s content or spend a day soaking up the calming coastal atmosphere at one of the four beaches found in the area; there is so much on offer in this seaside town. For an adventure, plan a trip on the South West Coast Path to walk on clifftops, over sandy bays and experience the rugged beauty of this part of the country.

The cottage was in a great location and was very well presented and clean on arrival but it was cold and mouldy. The main bedroom was tiny and I hurt my legs moving around. The bed was so uncomfortable. There were no towels - I checked the description which stated bedlinen and towels included. There was also no games and dvds as detailed which as Read morethere was no WiFi left us bored of an evening when little one was in bed. Also the garden was overgrown with weeds and nettles which stood out otherwise grounds of a really well kept holiday park. Hide

When we arrived, the lodge was filled with cheap air freshners which were awful. On removing them, it became apparent why they had put them in. The lodge is cold and damp and the bedrooms had a smell of cats pee. Very uncomfortable beds. Exterior and garden overgrown and scruffy. We came home early for a good night's sleep!
