Description

This stylish two bedroom property is part of a converted Methodist chapel located in the pretty hamlet of Rinsey, approximately one mile from the gorgeous sandy beach of Praa Sands and a five minute drive to the popular harbour town of Porthleven. No. 2 the Chapel was a former Methodist chapel, but now provides cosy and characterful accommodation with stunning countryside views.

The property is located in an idyllic countryside setting with a private sunny courtyard and only a short stroll to the picturesque beach at Rinsey Cove. Follow the South West coastal path West for 20 minutes and you will reach the golden sands of Praa Sands, a family friendly beach which is great for surfing. Less than 10 minutes by car is the historic site of St Michaels Mount; a small tidal island on Mount’s Bay with an imposing castle, accessed by a granite pebbled causeway at low tide.

Mr Stephen N,

Another brilliant holiday at the cottage, enhanced this year by sharing it with out daughter and grand daughter. The weather has been exceptionally kind to us, the cottage has been very comfortable as always, and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely. We are already looking to our next stay!

Previous Customer,

What a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. We have been busy exploring the surroundings and cycling. We walked along many coast paths, discovered the Lizard and visited St Ives. We tried cornish pies and cream teas. We enjoyed family time together in the cottage.Thank you for the Cornish treats and flowers upon arrival, we immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time in Cornwall.

So peaceful and quiet. A lovely cottage.

What a beautiful cottage! We have so enjoyed our stay here. Such a pleasure to be in a peaceful scenic area. Beautiful coastal walks in both directions right on the doorstep. We have also enjoyed the Cornish hospitality and tasty fresh cooked meals using local produce. Thank you Cornwall.

Such a lovely peaceful cottage, a great base to explore the wider area. We enjoyed many days out to local towns and attractions and it was great to be able to come back to such a cosy & well equipped cottage. Our first family holiday to Cornwall and certainly won't be our last!

Map

Praa Sands (pronounced Pray or Prah) is a village and beach located a few miles north of Porthleven and a few miles south of Marazion (home of St Michaels Mount). Famed for its fantastic waves and glorious mile-long sandy beach, it is a popular destination for visitors. With a beach café, golf club, village shop and pub, Praa Sands is the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday. As well as its own brilliant white sands, there are also two neighbouring beaches; Rinsey Cove and Kenneggy Cove.

Praa Sands is situated between the Lizard Peninsula (the most southerly point in the UK) and the far west of Cornwall, making it easy to explore both of these stunning areas. Head west and explore St Michael’s Mount and Land’s End and experience the amazing art scene and fabulous food of St Ives. Or head south to the rugged Lizard Peninsula and walk the spectacular South West Coast Path. There are many idyllic little villages to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
