Wake up and breathe in the fresh sea air at this wonderful cottage perched on a hillside above the pretty harbour of Mousehole. Sleeping eight people over four bedrooms, this cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends who are looking for a serene bolthole to call home while they discover the Cornish coast. Pack up a picnic and spend the day at Porthmeor Beach, and in the evening, come home to your cottage, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp, and soak up the sea views from the balcony.

Step inside this split-level cottage and you’ll discover a layout that makes the very most of the property’s exquisite sea views. Make your way to the ground floor and you’ll find a living/dining room with a beautiful picture window that boasts breathtaking sea views. Take a moment to make yourself at home before heading to the first floor, where you can unleash your inner chef in the light and bright kitchen. Gather everyone to eat at the dining table in the living/dining room, or venture outside to enjoy an al fresco dinner on the chic balcony. After dinner, stay outside to watch the stars come out, or head back to the lounge area to chill out in front of the TV. At the end of the day, there are four pretty bedrooms to choose from.

With its cobbled lanes and picture-perfect harbour, Mousehole is the quintessential English fishing village, and it’s an absolute delight to lose yourself in its historic alleyways. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and head to Porthmeor Beach (13 miles) – it’s a great spot to surf or swim. Or spend an afternoon browsing the art at the St Ives Tate Gallery (12 miles). The artwork is inspiring and the sea views are magnificent.

The cottage was lovely, amazing views but we all struggled getting up & down to Mousehole, we are in our 70s and thought we were fit.

Loved our stay. Enjoyed relaxing and watching the boats in the bay and harbour from various windows. Having an EV charger made life easy. The last couple of lanes are lined with hedges etc and just wider than an average car in places so might not be great if you have a wide car. If you have a dog then note that the patio is enclosed but the garden Read moreis not. Lovely (but narrow/uneven) path to the village next to a stream from the end of the lane that's easy to miss. Spacious comfortable property with fantastic views. Easy walking distance to the harbour in Mousehole and loved exploring the various winding routes. The layout of the property is unusual but works so well. I think the best property we have stayed at in the six years we have been visiting Cornwall annually as three family generations.

Unbelievable views of St Micheals Mount, Mousehole and St Clements island where we saw Seals every day. A must to bring your own binoculars. Steep path to Mousehole only for hardy walkers. Entrance to Love Lane and driveway very narrow.
