Description

One of the Lemain Garden first floor apartments, Eddystone is decorated and furnished to a high standard, and boasts the most fantastic views sea views from nearly every room. You also have the added bonus of having access to two private balconies, one at the front of the apartment overlooking Looe Bay and the other to the side of the apartment overlooking St George's Island to make the most of the sun and views throughout the day. A short walk will take you to a number of shops, cafes and restaurants that Looe has to offer. The all year round pet-friendly beach at Hannafore is a two minute walk away and access to the South West Coast Path is along the seafront. Also see information on Talland.

When you book online, last minute there's always a bit of a rush- on this occasion the gamble paid off big time. The apartment met all of our needs and Tess our spaniel settled in well. We believed we had the best views with two balconies. Excellent weather- walk, drink and eat. We enjoyed the ferry rides- yes we could relocate!

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.

There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you.  You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!

If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.

Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
