Great location and views from balconies.
When you book online, last minute there's always a bit of a rush- on this occasion the gamble paid off big time. The apartment met all of our needs and Tess our spaniel settled in well. We believed we had the best views with two balconies. Excellent weather- walk, drink and eat. We enjoyed the ferry rides- yes we could relocate!
A lovely week and a great place to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. We have stayed here quite a few times before and our stay has been as enjoyable as ever!
This is our first visit to Looe and it won't be our last! We had a fantastic time and the apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We recommend taking to coastal path to Polperro and visiting the Sea Kitchen down the road the supper! We will be back!
A great apartment in a good area. The views are amazing and sitting on the balcony whether for breakfast or dinner is stunning. Hope to be back next year.
Our third visit to the Lemain apartments! We love it here, a home away from home. We made the most of the sunshine we had- running in the mornings! Lots of cream teas and delicious foods! Thanks for a comfortable stay!
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
