The spacious living room which incorporates the dining area provides a ‘home from home’ feel, while those wishing to relax, read or listen to music can head off to the study area to unwind and enjoy tranquillity.
Appealing to many, the penthouse is well positioned on the edge of town allowing walkers to enjoy the magnificent coastal path or for families who would appreciate the nearby beach at Readymoney Cove. Fowey is an historical, picturesque town with an array of shops, pubs, galleries and restaurants.
Stroll the quaint narrow streets, hire a boat, learn to sail or kayak; you may even see the occasional dolphin on your travels, or try venturing further afield with excellent access leading to roads that will take you to an abundance of interesting places such as Eden Project or the magical fishing ports of Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey, Padstow and many, many more.....

If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store. Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors.
There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce. If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.
If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work. There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated. Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.
Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
