This spacious property is located in a quiet no through road only a few minutes' walk from Trevone beach and the spectacular North Cornwall coast. Imagine, a stroll up the road to the nearby farm shop for breakfast essentials, a leisurely meal eaten either in the rear garden which catches the morning sun or in the gloriously light and airy dining area and then, off to the beach to enjoy surfing, rock pooling, sand castle building or just relaxing. Stunning location and lovely property, we enjoyed using the table tennis table and pool table plus the board games, bbq and fireplace. The WiFi worked perfectly to keep the kids happy, the only concern was the garden was not totally secure for the dogs with a low wall and earth bank one side, apart from this we loved it, it was one of our best holidays ever and we can't wait to come back.
Trevone is another of those areas that become a favourite spot for many people once they discover it. With two beaches, one rocky, where you can spend hours exploring the rock pools, fishing net in hand, and one sandy, ideal for families and those who prefer to take it easy. This part of the coast also has a natural tidal pool where you can swim at low tide. There is lots to explore and dramatic scenery from the clifftops, especially if you care to visit the famous Round Hole, where a section of cliff has collapsed to form a deep circular blow-hole. You can also see plenty of wildlife, particularly the numerous species of birds which nest on the cliffs and surrounding areas, including of course the herring gull being one of the commonest, but you may also spot cormorants, razorbills, kittiwakes and possibly, if you're lucky, the rare chough. If you're a keen birdwatcher, why not bring your binoculars and see how many you can spot? The village itself boasts a pub, village store, beach shop and cafe where you can enjoy delicious ice cream, a farm shop selling local produce, and even a tea room and art gallery with gift shop- what more could you ask for?
