Description

This stylish and modern house is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday.  Overlooking fields to the rear, it is tucked away in a quiet location only a mile from the centre of St Merryn village and a couple of miles from some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Furnished in a modern, contemporary style it is very well equipped with great electronic gadgets including three TVs boasting a 50" plasma screen. With ample parking and flexible accommodation, Atlantic Breeze is sure to please. It is only 3-4 miles from the historic and picturesque fishing port of Padstow. Nearby St Merryn village has several restaurants, takeaways, pubs (one of which is also owned by Rick Stein) and shops. Facilities on St Merryn Park include sports bar, bar serving food, shop and tennis courts (seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities).

GARDEN & PARKING: The spacious front drive has room for up to 3 cars.  To rear is a secluded garden with decking, lawn, gravel patio, garden furniture and barbecue.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2, £25 per pet per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Power and Heat:  Electricity and oil included in rent; hot water solar panels, oil fired boiler providing c.h. and additional hot water.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels will be provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Travel cot, stair gate and highchair provided and other equipment may be hired - see hire page.

A lovely very well presented property in a great location for easy reach of many beautiful beaches. Very modern and well equipped. Afternoon tea and home made cake on arrival and dog treats, a very nice welcome after a long drive. Excellent customer service from Cornish Horizons with good correspondence from initial booking to final instructions for property access. Would recommend both property and Cornish Horizons.

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
