Rock

Description: Rock is a long sandy beach on the east side of the Camel Estuary (on the opposite side to Padstow). 
Parking: There is one small car park available and also some on road parking. 
Toilets: Yes, located in far corner.
Facilities: Rock offers a selection of shops, a golf course, cafes, restaurants and ferry service to Padstow. 
Safety: Lifeguards don't patrol the beach.
Dogs: Dogs allowed on the beach all year (please check this before you travel).  Information on bringing your dog on holiday.

Polzeath

Polzeath is a seaside resort situated on the North coast of Cornwall. Polzeath is renowned for its sandy beach, a hot-spot for celebrities and the royal family.
Description: Wide, flat family beach with good quality surf and some shelter from winds.
Parking: 1 large car park above the cliffs, 1 smaller car park situated on the beach and 1 small car park close to the beach.
Toilets: Yes, located straight across the road from the beach.
Facilities: Polzeath offers a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants.
Safety: Lifeguards patrol the beach in summer
Dogs: Sorry no dogs from Easter day to October 1st although we would advise checking this beforehand. Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
New Polzeath has access to Polzeath beach at low water; and additionally to Pentireglaze beach, a smaller beach.
