The Dunes is an iconic development of beachside properties sitting proud on a raised bank overlooking the miles of golden sandy beach, grassy dunes and shimmering seas. This is a very special location for both you and your pet, as Perranporth Beach is one of just a few in Cornwall which allows dogs all year round.  No 34 The Dunes has an outlook which is bound to wow you and the expansive views are some of the best to be found in this development! This beautifully furnished apartment is set right on the beach, with an enviable, corner position on the second floor which can be accessed by lift so there are no stairs to negotiate unless you want to. There are stunning views whatever the weather and it enjoys all day sunshine from the large front and side balconies in good weather.

No 34 The Dunes is a superb, second-floor apartment all on one level finished to an excellent standard. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary style, the spacious open-plan living area is designed for comfort and sociability. With a choice of restaurants on your doorstep, including The Watering Hole right on the beach, you may decide to dine out every night. If you do want to cook, then the luxurious kitchen provides all the equipment you will need and the huge dining table will encourage long drawn-out meal times.

The sprawling beach is accessible by private footpath from the development which is ideal for families with beach gear to carry and perfect for an early morning stroll before the town fully awakes. With the sun setting on the water, the evening on a clear day is a magical time as Perranporth benefits from the most spectacular sunsets. Outdoor activities are plentiful with surfing, walking and sandcastle-building being amongst some of the most popular.

Wow !! What a place ! We had such a lovely break, fantastic apartment and amazing location. We are already looking forward to coming again next year. Thank you !

Mrs Kamila B,

It was our second visit and we love it here ! Couldn't fault anything absolutely brilliant. For once the weather gods were with us and we had seven days of sunshine, that made it perfect. Were already looking forward to next year.

Mr Ian H,

Wild and wet week back in this wonderful spot, culminating in an amazing view of Storm Eunice. We had some great trips out, including one to St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre and Land's End there is beautiful coastline around that area. If you're visiting the Eden Project we recommend eating at nearby Edie's kitchen, a real gem! Thank you for everything.

Past Customer,

Super apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The weather has been mixed but it hasn't kept us in, because of Covid restrictions we haven't been out to eat but we are back in March so we can make up for it then ! Guide dog puppy 'Nikko' has loved the beach (not sure about the sea! ) and really appreciated his welcome pack ! His family enjoyed there's too ! This break was really about rest and recreation for the whole family. One of the people in our group is an NHS worker and was really tired but she has really enjoyed chilling out here and we cant wait to be back in spring.

Mr Rod A,

Fabulous apartment , spotlessly clean !! Fabulous bed linen and towels, cracking views and just an outstanding location to weather watch. The Seal Sanctuary is definitely worth a visit which also has a great nature walk with a beautiful estuary running alongside. I loved the Eden Project and we also had a great trip to Mevagissey with drinks in The Fountain Inn. There is also lots to see and explore at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. We will be back !

Ms Rachael W,

What an amazing and perfectly located apartment. The ever changing views are absolutely amazing. What a wonderful place to just sit and watch the world go by. We've visited some amazing places, the Tate in St Ives, the Lost Garden's of Heligan, the Eden Project and the Seal Sanctuary are all definitely worth a visit. We also visited the Fish House in Newquay which is an amazing fish restaurant, the welcome and food was exceptional. There is nothing else you could have thought of or put into this apartment, it has absolutely everything you could wish for. Thank you for the stay we will definitely be recommending to friends.

Past Customer,

We've had another wonderful holiday in this amazing apartment set in an idyllic spot. Of course there are loads of wonderful walks in every direction but we recommend a dip in the sea if you can brave it out of season. This time, we had a lovely lunch at The Mariners in Rock which we thoroughly enjoyed. We did this by driving to Padstow and then getting the ferry across the water to Rock. Just sitting on the balcony in any weather is also just one of the loveliest things to do, so much to see, views and activity on the beach. We'll be back !

Past Customer,

We have really enjoyed our week in this beautiful apartment. Amazing views, everything we needed for the perfect holiday. Molly our Labrador enjoyed her runs on the beach and we managed a morning dip in the sea, despite the weather ! Thank you for the welcome pack, it was lovely to eat our cream tea in the afternoon.

Mr Ian H,

It is our 5th stay here and we love it as much as the first time !

Mr Rory G,

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch as well. It had everything and more and it was the perfect place to celebrate our 60th birthday's with the family. We had a beautiful walk to St Agnes, Kynance Cove is well worth a visit as is St Ives. We had a lovely meal at No4 in Perranporth and the Watering Hole is well worth a visit. The weather was very kind to us for April, it made the surfing and bodyboarding a real treat.

Mr Anton T,

Just as good the second time round ! Only the two of us this time plus the puppy. The weather was super, so we have been able to go out and about a lot more than we expected. We revisited Watergate Bay which was amazing in the sun and we even dipped a toe in the sea ! Thank you again for the lovely stay !

Mr Rod A,

Fantastic panoramic views from the apartment of Perranporth beach and the town. Great location, right on the beach and next to the town. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. This is the second year we have been and will return again next year.

Mr H,

Great Apartment with spectacular views we love holidaying here.

Mrs R,

We chose this property for it's location to the beach and we were so glad we did. Not only were the views amazing but it was very convenient for the older children with us to come and go as they pleased. A very well-equipped apartment, comfortable and clean with a separate room for boards and wet suits. Perranporth itself is a little busy, but you only need to walk 15 minutes down the beach for quieter surfing or inland to get away from the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend The Dunes and we actually have booked again already!

Mrs C,

A gorgeous apartment in a stunning location, with unbeatable views across Perranporth bay, right on the beach and perfectly placed for reaching the local restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in minutes. Spacious with light decor, we especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea and surfers, and on colder days still being able to do the same from the comfort of the corner sofa through the huge lounge windows. Well equipped, with very comfortable beds, a good kitchen and tastefully decorated it is one of the best holiday places we have stayed. Can't wait to return.

Ms W,

Located on the rugged North Coast, Perranporth is the gateway to one of Cornwall's most spectacular beaches where the three miles of beautiful golden sands, huge surf and sand dunes, full with wildlife all combine to make a pretty impressive location. Surrounded by countryside that inspired Winston Graham's Poldark novels, this bustling village has plenty to offer from ice-cream parlours, beach shops, family pubs, restaurants and cafes all serving delicious Cornish produce.

Perranporth beach is a remarkable playground for the whole family- build sandcastles, play football or explore the countless rock pools. Take a swim, have a picnic, take a stroll with some canine companions or at sunset, let it provide the perfect place to watch the sun go down! For the more active, there are surf and kite buggy schools on the beach and the coastal footpath, from the village provides stunning walking trails.
