To give our cleaners enough time to complete the additional cleaning and sanitising that is currently needed to keep our guests safe, check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.
This property has been converted from part of the 1876 grade II listed building which was once the school for the town. The conversion has been sympathetically achieved to retain much of the original stone walls, gothic arched windows and vaulted ceilings, which give the building its character. Primrose House is ideally located just a two minute walk from the harbour and Padstow's many recommended restaurants. The town is now familiar to many from Rick Stein's seafood cookery programmes, but was a well-kept secret for many years before. The historic fishing port remains largely unspoilt and the townspeople like to keep it that way. Within easy striking distance are magnificent walks along the coastal footpaths and just a few miles down the coast are some of the finest beaches in Cornwall; a number absolutely ideal for surfing the rolling Atlantic breakers. There are championship golf links at Trevose and St. Enodoc; a passenger ferry and water taxi runs across the estuary to Rock. The route of the old railway track to Bodmin is now a popular trail for cyclists and walkers and offers some wonderful scenery along the way.

Great property for 7 adults and efficient & friendly service.
An excellent property in an excellent location.
We have stayed 3 times now and it has been really good and always had excellent service from Cornish Horizons
As a family we have visited Padstow for many years and love it there. Primrose House where we stayed was lovely
All was excellent!
This is the first time we have holidayed in the UK for 40 years and our first visit to Cornwall in 60 years. We found Cornwall to be still charming (if a little busier than last time). If we decide to go back there we will most certainly look to Cornish Horizons to book. You are efficient and very pleasant and the property we rented could not have been better suited to our needs. Thank you very much.
A very clean and comfortable property. Very close to the town just a 5 minute walk. The welcome tray of tea, milk and cake was appreciated.
