Mawgan Porth

Mawgan Porth Beach is an excellent wide sandy beach with sand even at high tide.

Parking: 2 car parks close to Mawgan Porth Beach
Toilets: Yes, close to the beach but steps to access
Facilities: Cafe and Shops close to the beach
Safety: Lifeguards in summer although we would advise checking this beforehand
Dogs: Dogs welcome all year although again, we would advise checking this beforehand to avoid disappointment.  Information on bringing your dog on holiday.

Bedruthan Steps

Bedruthan Steps is a large sandy beach dwarfed by spectacular rock outcrops. The beach at Bedruthan Steps is closed during the winter, open again on March 1st.

Parking: 1 small car park at Bedruthan Steps
Toilets: Yes, at the Bedruthan Car Park
Facilities: Cafe close to the Beach
Safety: Bedruthan Steps Beach is not recommended for swimming due to strong currents and the risk of becoming stranded at high tide. The steps down to the beach are very steep and not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Dogs: Dogs are allowed onto Bedruthan Steps all year round, although we would advise checking this beforehand.  Information on bringing your dog on holiday.
