African artwork adds character to the contemporary interior, which includes a comfortable sofa, bar-style dining area and well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. There is no Wi-Fi, although a 4G signal is available. The shower room opens directly onto the deck, while the handcrafted king-size bed sits beneath a large skylight, giving you the chance to watch the night sky from bed. Patio doors lead onto an elevated deck overlooking the woodland and uninhabited valley below. Behind the treehouse, a wood-fired hot tub sits in an orchard, creating a peaceful setting for a soak surrounded by nature. The on-site wellbeing programme includes yoga, meditation, massages, and holistic facials, which can be booked during your stay. For larger gatherings, the treehouse can also be booked alongside other accommodation on the site, sleeping an additional eight guests.
The coast and countryside are close by, with a 1-mile walk leading to Mithian’s 16th-century inn and a scenic 2-mile route taking you to secluded Trevellas Cove. Follow the South West Coast Path north to Perranporth Beach, 4.5 miles away, renowned for surfing and its beachside pub, or head south to Porthtowan, 5 miles from home.
