An open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area gives the cabin a spacious feel and two comfortable sofas and a coffee table sit by a wood burner and Smart TV. Eclectic artwork hangs from whitewashed, wood-panelled walls and a blue, retro style fridge freezer stands beside wooden units. A dining table seats up to six in front of the window. Open the double doors to the garden and decked area with table and chairs, BBQ and outdoor kitchen. The enclosed outdoor space is ideal for the family dog. From the living area, enter the master bedroom where soft throws, wooden drawers and pictures create a restful ambience. The second double bedroom has a rattan armchair, a set of drawers and a wardrobe. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a rustic coastal theme. There is private parking for two cars.
Set apart from busier Cornish villages, Porthcothan feels more relaxed and traditional. The cabin is 1 mile from the beach, where you can walk along the coastline to grassy dunes and hidden coves. There are many beaches to explore close by, including Treyarnon (1.5 miles), Bedruthan (3.5 miles) and Constantine Bay (2 miles). At the fishing port of Padstow (4.5 miles), watch the daily catch land, take the ferry across the River Camel or go on a dolphin and seal-watching safari.
