On a small holiday complex between the coastal villages of Polperro and Polruan, the cottage is just a few miles from the stunning south Cornwall coast. It’s all on one floor with an open fire in the lounge and a BBQ in the garden so you can make the most of your break whatever the weather.
The cottage has lots of original features and bags of character. Go into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden beams and an open fire in the stone fireplace with somewhere to relax after a fun day and space to cook and eat together. There’s a king-size bed in the bedroom, along with good storage, a TV and beautiful country views; there’s also a family bathroom. Outside you have your own garden area with a BBQ and dining furniture. You can also use the doggy exercise field, the warm canine shower and unlimited dog towels.
The complex of 11 holiday cottages is set on 7 acres of woodland and wildflower meadows, perfect for romantic walks. There’s also an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna, a launderette, a games room, and an outside play park on-site. Head out on stunning walks on the South West Coast Path, which you can pick up at Polperro beach (3 miles away). Wander 2 miles to Polruan for a tasty pub lunch or Cornish cream tea. Hop on the ferry to Fowey from Polruan and spend the day exploring the town’s boutique shops and bustling harbour. The Eden Project is 13 miles away and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, another top destination for nature lovers, is 21.5 miles from the cottage.
