Located in an ideal spot for dipping into both Devon and Cornwall. The wild moorlands, deep valleys and rare wildlife of Dartmoor are only 12 miles away. Pop into the ancient town of Launceston to wander the narrow streets and see remains of the defensive wall that once circled the town. Jamaica Inn, Cornwall's most famous smugglers' Inn, is 15 miles from the property, high up on wild and beautiful Bodmin Moor. Visit this history-rich inn to understand the inspiration behind the world-famous tale of smugglers, rogues and pirates by Daphne du Maurier.

We stayed at the Highland cottage for little over 2 weeks and it was a fantastic break for six of us. Cottage is well equipped, quiet, offering lovely views from living room/ kitchen and quite spacious so all of us had a quality time while having a lot of fun together as family. Lisa was always very prompt whenever we needed help which made our staRead morey even more memorable. Highly recommended and Highland will be our default choice for another break in Cornwall. Hide

Very well equipped & comfortable property. The kitchen has everything you & more need for large family meals. Great views & so peaceful but close to lots of amenities. The grass area with the trampoline was very popular with my children, even tho they are young adults! Absolutely beautiful place and a great stay. The barn is lovely, always warm and very cosy. Lisa was always on hand if anything was needed. All in all a wonderful break away.

We had an amazing time here for Christmas! The owners literally thought of everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the games and even the games for adults :) we hope to be back again to this beautiful barn and it's surroundings.

Lovely cottage, very clean with modern furniture. Scones, jam and cream was a great touch and very welcome after a long trip. Lisa could not do any more for you, providing additional clothes horses and dealing with an issue with one of the toilets quickly and efficiently. The barn was in a lovely position with views in all directions and plenty of Read moreparking. very handy for the A30 to see as much of the county as possible. I couldnt fault our stay. Hide
