White Park is an elegant barn conversion set within 140 acres of Cornish farmland. A few miles from Launceston - sometimes known as the gateway to Cornwall because it sits just 2 miles inside the Devon and Cornwall border - you are perfectly situated to explore much of the south west peninsula.

This tastefully decorated and fully furnished holiday home has all the facilities a large family group might need. You can enjoy preparing and eating your breakfast in the kitchen diner while you are planning your day's activities. Take your coffee out to the patio or the garden and enjoy the views while children play in the shared play area. Later on, you might want to make use of the BBQ and garden furniture to really make the most of a long summer's evening. If it is too cold to spill outside, the cosy lounge has a traditional wood burner and you can watch TV, as you nestle in front of the fire.

If you want to treat yourself to a meal, Launceston has a good selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs. You also have plenty of culinary delights on offer at eateries and bars along the coastline, including Bude (18 miles). Inland, there is the famous Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor (at Bolventor, 15 miles) once the setting of Daphne du Maurier's famous tale of smuggling and intrigue. Walkers will also love the wilds of the moors where you can climb to the highest point in the duchy, Brown Willy.

  • 3 bedrooms: 2 king-size, 1 super king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request)
  • 3 bathrooms - 1 en-suite shower room with WC, 1 en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 shower room with WC
  • Kitchen - electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave

Once again we had an amazing stay here. The cottage and farm are perfect for our family. Lisa, as always went above and beyond, this time we had 11 month old twins with us and we had requested an extra high chair and cot which were there waiting for us on arrival with the stair gates put up as well! A lovely cottage within a courtyard of 4 other cottages, all well spaced from each other. Very comfortable beds and a cosy living room. All in all a really nice place to stay.

Having returned for a second year, different home, same site, we weren't disappointed. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Well equipped home for both children and dogs. Lovely cream tea welcome and a check in that things were ok. Great central location for visiting both coastlines and everywhere in between. The town isn't huge but has a lovely steam traRead morein ride and also lots of little cafes and pubs. There is also an amazing garden centre with food hall which is great if you are self catering. We've stayed here before and Lisa always looks after us. That's really important particularly if there are any issues. Well located to the A30, plenty of things todo in the area. The barn is comfortable and everyone has their own en suite. Supersize scones on arrival with jam and clotted cream. Considering it's dog friendly it doesn't smell doggy-(Read more we have dogs). This is my third time staying at White Park. House is clean, spacious and always lovely and warm when we arrive (we stay during February). Cream tea waiting for us after the long journey. Welcome pack for the dog. I love the fact that I can walk the dog round the fields and ponds in the morning before then going off for the day. Enclosed back gardeRead moren with a hose pipe to wash off muddy boots / paws. Can reccommend the Arundell at Lifton for Sunday lunch which is only a 10 min drive away. Hide

Lovely cottage, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home made scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Lisa, the host, was very friendly and communication with her was easy. WiFi was a bit slow. Would be happy to return as we had a great week.
