Cornwall is ever-popular, and a stay in this four-bed modern property in Portreath will make clear exactly why. Ideal for an extended family and up to two canine chums, you don’t need to plan days out or wrangle dogs, babies and grandmas in and out of the car – the beach, village and amenities are all right here, within 0.3 miles. The house is comfortable and well-appointed and offers views of the sea, beach, harbour and village. Its fantastic location is super convenient for cliff top walks too.

This three-storey house affords a practical and cosy home from home. You can store outdoor gear and keep dog towels to hand in the handy hallway. The living accommodation is on the first floor, with a slick modern dining room leading out onto a balcony with seats overlooking the village and beach. The spacious modern lounge is welcoming and has more sea views, Smart TV and sofa seating. You’ll find the sleeping quarters on the ground and second floor with one double and an en-suite single bedroom downstairs. Upstairs, are the remaining two bedrooms with charming sloping ceilings. Both are super-king-size bedrooms that, thanks to zip-and-link beds, can become twins upon request. You’ve got seating to the front of the property as well as your private balcony.

You’re opposite the golden swathes of Portreath beach here, so walkies and sandy family fun are on hand. Walk its length with your best furry buddies (restrictions apply in peak season) or try surfing, bodyboarding or take a dip youself. Do just this in Portreath Rock Pool, sheltered behind the harbour wall, providing calm wild swimming when the sea is rough. And, it’s free! The popular South West Coast Path runs near your door, so head out in either direction to see Cornwall from a different perspective.

  • 4 bedrooms -2 super king zip-and-link beds (can be made into twins on request), 1 double, 1 single

This property has something for everyone; it provides comfort and relaxation for those who want to sit and admire the views. On the other hand, it provides easy access to the beach, to village amenities and several scenic walks or you can jump in your car and explore West Cornwall with ease.

A comfortable cottage in an excellent location for beach and good cafes, eateries. 7 adults had a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Most things were provided but take a hairdryer!

The property is well situated, only a couple of minutes walk to the sandy beach. It was very clean and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. Good views from the house, the sea is visible from most windows along with Portreath village. I would definitely recommend for a large family group.

Having stayed in Curnows several times before, we were delighted to find that it still lived up to our high expectations. Curnows provides a very comfortable base from which to explore West Cornwall or, indeed, to sit in comfort and watch the sea in all its different modes.
