Portreath, there’s no better place for a multi-generational family holiday. Stay in this versatile, four-bed property and you’re guaranteed comfort and all mod cons. You don’t need to use the car to get to the beach, as it’s literally on your doorstep. So pack your bucket and spades and grab the dogs’ leads. All you’ve got to do is create those magical holiday memories. With slick, modern accommodation and fabulous sea views from both the three-storey house and bonus balcony, it’s just the ticket.

The practical hallway is a useful space for leaving shoes and dog towels. Also on the ground floor is one double and one single en-suite bedroom. Up to the first floor and the spacious lounge welcomes you in and offers stunning sea views – as do most rooms in this house. The sleek modern dining room leads out onto a balcony with seats overlooking the village and beach. It’s a gorgeous view; sit here and see, hear and smell the sea! Upstairs, two further bedrooms have characterful sloping ceilings. Both are super-king-size bedrooms that can become twin bedrooms upon request thanks to zip-and-link beds. Sit and relax on your own private balcony admiring the sea and people-watching.

Portreath’s sandy swathes are literally opposite the house, so walking the dogs poses no problem (seasonal beach restrictions apply). Watch the surfers and body boarders or even have a go yourself! If wild swimming is your bag, then you’ll love Portreath Rock Pool created from natural rock behind the harbour wall. It’s free and dogs are welcome. The village has pubs and eateries for those treat nights when you fancy a change from self-catering. There’s plenty of cliff walking on offer, with the South West Coast Path passing through, too.

  • 4 bedrooms - 2 super king zip-and-link beds (can be made into twins on request), 1 double, 1 single
  • 3 bathrooms - 1 with a shower over the bath and WC, 1 shower room with WC, 1 en-suite shower room with WC
  • Double electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave
  • Welcome pack provided
  • Travel cot and highchair available
  • Smart TV in lounge and Bluetooth speaker in dining room
  • Seating to the front of the property with views and a balcony from the dining area
  • Enclosed courtyard garden to the rear
  • Driveway parking for two cars
  • Beach, shops, and pubs within 0.3 miles
  • No Smoking
  • Arrival: 17:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

Had a great week, the house was perfect the view from the sitting room window over looking the sea was just what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing holiday or for someone looking for surfing or just a beach holiday.
