Just under 1 mile from the glorious coastal path which snakes its way around the South West, this lovely stone barn is the ideal location for a quiet holiday by the sea. Perfectly placed to visit the pretty harbours and fishing villages of the south Cornish coast, it offers a tranquil haven to return to at night. One of six barns with expansive shared gardens boasting spectacular views over the sea beyond, you will feel as though you are part of your own country estate.

Welcome in the first light of the day from one of the comfortable bedrooms, and get together for breakfast in the characterful open-plan living space. Exposed beams and painted walls give a feeling of light, yet the cosy lounge area with its wood burner effect electric fire is the perfect place to retire to when you need to relax. The shared gardens and pond are a great area to play games or have a picnic but the cottage also has its own seating area for a little privacy.

Drive along winding country lanes to the selection of pretty villages along the coast. The delightful harbour of Looe is just 2 miles away with its pastel houses perched on the banks of the river, and 9 miles away you will find the picture-postcard fishing village of Polperro with its colourful narrow streets. Fantastic place to stay. Extremely clean and well maintained. Good level of equipment in the kitchen, very comfy beds, great shower with plenty of hot water. Very quiet location with a lovely big garden for the kids to run around in. Plenty to do in the local area (we were there for 2 weeks) although will require a drive to most things. It is possiRead moreble to walk to the beach but not recommended. The owners are lovely and very helpful. We had a great stay. Hide

We arrived as a family of six and each and everyone of us had a wonderful holiday in the cottage. The location and accommodation was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for Kate who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Six of us and a dog stayed in this beautiful property. The owners provided tea, milk, jam, clotted cream and scones, which we all enjoyed, along with a bottle of juice. The little added touches that made us feel welcome were much appreciated. The setting of the property is beautiful. There is a lovely little beach just a 15 minute walk away. The cottage was one of the cleanest we have stayed in which we really appreciated. We were slightly wary as we don't usually like to stay in places that accept dogs but we needn't have worried!
