Classic, cosy and coastal, The Smithy Forge is set high on the rolling hills 2 miles North East of Looe. Overlooking crashing waves, the dramatic panoramic view from the grounds will tempt you outside. One of six beautiful, stone barns, The Smithy Forge has an abundance of character and is a superb spot to call home throughout your Cornish holiday.

Inside, original exposed beams and traditional interior add to the charm of The Smithy Forge. An open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area is perfectly suited for cosy nights in. The comfort of the lounge invites you to curl up by the electric wood effect fire and kick back in front of the TV. The two spacious bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the property's Cornish charm. Fresh from a good night's sleep, take your morning coffee outside into the lush shared garden and superb views will ease you into your day.

Heading out you will be spoilt for choice. Two beautiful beaches, Banjo Pier and Hannafore, lie just 5 miles from The Smithy Forge. The crystal clear water and dramatic coastline make these spots a must go for beach lovers, or explore the water by boat for a different vantage point of the spectacular scenery. Close to home at only half a mile from The Smithy Forge is the Monkey Sanctuary. If you fancy heading slightly further afield, the vibrant, narrow streets of Polperro are 9 miles away.

What a beautiful cottage set in a lovely location. Our family of four had a lovely time at the cottage, it was an 8 minute car journey to the town of Looe and was walkable to the nearest beach but a bit far for our 5 year old to manage. The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were very warm and welcoming. The gardens are also beautiful Read moreand the children made friends with the children staying in the other cottages. Would definitely book again if we come back to Looe Hide

The cottage met all our expectations. It is situated in lovely quiet spot, just on the outskirts of Looe. It was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen , modern bathroom with a powerful shower. The living space is comfortable and welcoming.
