Surrounded by a 23-acre estate, this delightful barn conversion offers a peaceful retreat for romantic getaways for two. Discover the many quaint fishing villages, coves and beaches that this tranquil part of South Cornwall has to offer before returning to base for a relaxing swim in the shared outdoor pool.

Inside, the accommodation offers a tasteful blend of old and new, as a modern kitchen and open-plan lounge/diner combine with exposed ceiling beams and oak floorboards. Wake in the cosy double bedroom before heading outside for a reviving morning swim in the shared pool. After a day of exploring, dine alfresco in the charming shared courtyard or pack a picnic and stroll past fields of sheep, horses and chickens to find a peaceful spot to eat.

Located on the spectacular Lizard Peninsula, this area is steeped in maritime and smuggling history with plenty of stories to tell. Head towards the coast to visit the popular Mullion (4 miles) and Poldhu (2 miles) coves before stopping for an ice cream in the quaint fishing village of Porthleven. Ditch the car for a day and follow the breathtaking South West Coast Path or enjoy a day out at the popular attractions of The Eden Project (40 miles), Tate Gallery St Ives (20 miles) or Flambards Theme Park (5 miles).

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Having use of the shared heated pool was great. Very generous welcome pack provided on arrival from friendly hosts Trish and Kev. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

We had a lovely stay in our upstairs cottage and didn't want for anything. The cottage is one of several on the farm and we felt very much at home throughout our stay. This is a brilliant location to explore The Lizard and we went right across to St Ives, on the train from St Erth and drove to Sennen Cove. Plus there are the local beaches as well.

Tricky steps to the Cottage, loved the hens and all the wildlife which are very well looked after. So peaceful. The pool area was fabulous thanks for putting lovely new beds out for us.

We had an amazing holiday. The property is in a fantastic location for exploring southern Cornwall. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to visit somewhere different every day from the property. It is extremely affordable and we were pleasantly surprised at how affordable a 2 week holiday was.
