A characterful barn conversion complete with shared heated indoor swimming pool and play barn, Skiber Long is one of two holiday properties set in a scenic countryside location on a welcoming working farm. Just  6 miles south of Launceston, it is within easy reach of the north and south coasts of Cornwall and over the border into Devon.

Reflecting its rural location, the interior has a charming, farm cottage feel. Snuggled around the lounge area in the evenings, you can enjoy the long summer nights with the door flung open onto the decking outside, or warm up on winter nights with the fire on and a hearty home-cooked meal. Revel in the peace and quiet on a romantic break, or keep the family entertained with swimming and games.

Dartmoor and the North Cornwall coast invite you to lace up your hiking boots and discover wonderful scenery on foot. The pretty fishing village of Looe, on the south coast is 19 miles away, promising fresh seafood, quirky shops and a safe sandy beach. Don't miss the picturesque village of Polperro with its gorgeous harbour and rocky cliffs, 24 miles away. If you're looking for a day of retail therapy, Plymouth will be happy to oblige, with its high street stores and Drake Circus shopping centre providing plenty of opportunities to part with your pennies, a 21-mile drive.

Lovely peaceful cottage with great views across the valley. The pool was nice and warm and a great size for swimming and playing. Nice walk down to the river where there's a lovely spot to share a beer or a picnic. We would definitely want to stay there again.

The perfect holiday stay for our little family! Despite the weather not being great we had lots to do and the pool was a firm favourite. The Long Barn was perfect for our holiday, quite centrally located enabling us to explore more of Cornwall. The indoor pool was an excellent addition and we made good use of it. Honestly this was one of my favourite holidays ever. The cottage is exactly as it looks on the pictures. The pool was fantastic and bigger than I expected. The surroundings were picturesque. We woke up every day to the most perfect views. A lovely cosy cottage with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. It was a shame that the weather wasn't great otherwise we would have enjoyed eating on the outdoor table and using the bbq. My girls loved being able to use the swimming pool every day. And I loved watching all the birds, especially the swallows.

Couldn't have asked for more from the owners or cottage. Everything we needed including fresh baked cake milk t-bags and coffee on arrival. Lovely swimming pool and games room, so peaceful. The only downside was drive through tiny rds to get to cottage, but peaceful location makes up for it.

I recently stayed at Skiber Long in Cornwall over the bank holiday weekend, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The cottage is situated in a beautiful location with stunning landscapes that are sure to take your breath away.
