As well as boasting an ideal location just a few miles from the historic medieval village of Tintagel, this attractive single-storey property makes exploring the Atlantic coast and all of North Cornwall’s treasures easy. And after a day of fun, coming home to a cosy wood burner and a comfortable bed is always guaranteed.
Everything you need is at your fingertips in this charming cottage, where its stylish open-plan layout is yours to discover. Prepare a romantic meal in the well-equipped kitchen and savour it while sitting around the dining table. Then, sink into the sofas in the living area, pop the TV/DVD on, and put your feet up in front of the wood burner. A perfect night’s sleep awaits in the spacious king-size bed. Finally, there is a handy shower room with a large shower and WC. Outside of the property, there is a small patio area with a bench and a shared 5-acre paddock to enjoy.
Undeniably the main attraction of the area, famous Tintagel (3 miles), set high on the cliffs of North Cornwall, offers dramatic sea views, mysterious Arthurian legends to explore, and a new 60-metre footbridge connecting the mainland to the island on which the spectacular Tintagel Castle can be found. And don’t forget to visit Merlin’s Cave back down on sea level! However, if beaches are your thing, the golden sands and natural caves of Trebarwith Strand are just 2.5 miles away. There’s also plenty of traditional Cornish fishing ports to enjoy, such as Boscastle (5.5 miles) and Port Isaac (9 miles) – where TV’s Doc Martin was filmed!
