Description
This beautifully renovated character cottage lies on the outskirts of St Just village in West Cornwall. Surrounded by old tin mines and engine houses, this pet friendly property is the perfect base for exploring this historic part of Cornwall, which is becoming ever more popular with holidaymakers. The Queens Arms pub is located just 100 metres from the cottage, ideal for quenching your thirst after a day on your feet.
St Just village, approximately one mile from the property, offers a great selection of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops for convenience. This historic town used to be the mining centre of this Cornish peninsula, evident from the abundance of disused engine houses which dot the landscape. Unsurprisingly, it is a popular filming location for the TV series Poldark, so if you’re lucky you might even spot the cast filming nearby.
GROUND FLOOR:
Living/Kitchen/Dining: Toaster, kettle, microwave, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, woodburner, Freeview TV, DVD player.
Shed: Washing machine, tumble dryer.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: King-size bed (5’), bedside tables, wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Double bed (4’6”), under bed drawer, bedside unit,
Bathroom: Roll top bath with electric shower over, basin, wc.
GARDEN AND PARKING:
Enclosed courtyard with seating area and kettle BBQ. Car port to the rear of the cottage providing parking for one car.
Changeover Day: Friday – arrival 4:00pm – departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Up to 1 pet welcome. £25 per week per pet
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Vintage radiators heated by woodburner, additional electric heaters.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Shop: 1.0 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.
NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies.
