Overlooking a gorgeous sandy beach in iconic St Ives, this family-friendly apartment has a parking space and a wonderful balcony on which you can relax while enjoying the views. Just metres away is the bustling town centre, where you’ll find a variety of shops, galleries and places to eat and drink.

The two-storey apartment covers the first and second floors, with an open-plan living space on the first floor. This room has a real home-from-home feel, with a comfortable lounge area that has a sofa and chairs facing a Smart TV and flame-effect electric fire. The U-shaped kitchen is well-designed to make cooking for four practical and easy, and there’s a dining table with fixed bench seating right next to it. Upstairs, the double bedroom has far-reaching sea views and the benefit of a TV and DVD, and there’s also a twin bedroom plus a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. In terms of outside space, you can step through the patio door in the lounge onto a balcony with outdoor furniture - the perfect spot in which to unwind while admiring the vistas of sea and sky.

The apartment sits above Porthmeor Beach, a safe beach that’s popular with surfers and swimmers, and is just metres from the centre of St Ives where you’ll find ancient, friendly pubs, cool cafes, a wide variety of boutique shops and the iconic Tate St Ives gallery of modern art. There are four other beaches to try in town, and many visitors park up and don’t leave St Ives for the duration of their visit, but if you do want to get out and about you can reach Land’s End in 18 miles, the island castle of St Michael’s Mount in 9 miles and the clifftop Minack Theatre in 18 miles.

We arrived on the Friday night after a nightmare journey of 9 hours from London. It was great to find everything was spotlessly clean and the basics had been provided, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc. After the terrible weather we have had we were really lucky to arrive and enjoy hot and sunny weather and it was great to have the large balcony to eRead morenjoy breakfast and watch the sunset with the wonderful view of the sea. I could go on and on but just to say that we will definitely be booking this property again and I would highly recommend it if you are going to visit St Ives. Hide

Perfect apartment! Felt like a little house it was that spacious! Wonderful views, apartment was spotless had absolutely everything & more we needed!
