Perched on the hillside overlooking the splendid sandy beach at Porthmeor, Carthew House benefits from panoramic views out to sea from both the terraced seating and garden areas. The perfect spot to sit out on a warm evening and watch the fabulous sunsets found in this part of Cornwall. The property has been finished to a high specification and with wall-to-wall folding doors in the living room, you can really bring the outside in.
The ground floor is well laid out with plenty of space and natural light and with wooden flooring featuring throughout the property, it feels bright and contemporary.

Living/Dining Area: TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and double sofa bed for flexible sleeping, gas fire. Magnificent views from Clodgy Point across Porthmeor to Hayle Towans. Wall-to-wall folding doors open out to decking.
Kitchen: Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, two fridges and dishwasher. Breakfast bar.
Bedroom 1: King size bed (5’), bedside units, chest of drawers, wardrobe, TV and the same panoramic views as the living room. En suite: wet-room with thermostatic shower, basin, w.c. and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3’)
Bedroom 3: Single bed (3’) with pull-out bed for alternative sleeping options. Sea views across the cliff-tops to Clodgy Point.

GARDEN & PARKING: A choice of two decking areas with a terraced garden. Sun loungers and patio table and chairs. Driveway parking on site for 2-3 cars.

St Ives is one of Cornwall's top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light- one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located here in the heart of the town. The town itself arcs around the working harbour- the heart of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming cobbled streets which are crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs- a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored!
St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family friendly activities. Dogs are welcomed out of season. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September.
