The entrance to the property leads through the front lobby with fifteen steps leading to the apartment entrance then a dozen steps up to the hallway. Once inside, you will find the cheerful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a lovely space to relax in at the end of a fantastic day. The lounge has a large window allowing light to stream in and offering views over the town towards the sea. The delightful dining area is perfect for a romantic meal for two which you can whip up in the stylishly arranged kitchen to the side. There’s also an airy bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a refreshing en-suite shower room and views over St Ives towards Hayle Towans. Outside, the apartment has a handy allocated parking space for one car behind the property.

The apartment is ideally placed just away from the heart of the town, with both Porthminster Beach and Porthmeor Beach within half a mile. St Ives is known for its art galleries, with Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden just 500 metres away. Heading along to The Island, less than a mile away, you can visit St Ives Head, the harbour and the beautiful Porthgwidden Beach.

Very basic and in need of maintenance and refurbishment, but it was at least clean. The location in StIves is a significant draw but the shortcomings of the property meant that, for me at any rate, this was poor value. All round, a rather sad testament to what the tourist industry has done to beautiful places like StIves.

Lovely little flat with sea views from the bedroom and living room. Very well equipped. The property is located on the top floor and the stairs up to the flat when you have entered are very steep and narrow. We had a lovely stay.
