Description

The Moorings is situated in the heart of the popular fishing port of Portreath. This modern house is comfortably furnished with three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people, making it the ideal choice for a family or small group of friends. The property benefits from a patio to the rear which looks out over the harbour - the perfect spot to wine and dine on a sunny evening.

Portreath is a fishing port on Cornwall's North West Coast and is an excellent base for touring all that Cornwall has to offer. You are spoilt for choice with nearby beaches - Portreath beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door, with the popular surfing beaches of Gwithian and Porthtowan either side of the village being a hot spot for locals and holidaymakers alike. The South West coastal path runs along this heritage coastline, and for those looking for an all day adventure we recommend the coast to coast cycle trail from Portreath to Devoran. This is a family friendly cycle trail, following to the old mineral tramways and is one of the best ways to explore Cornwall.

Reviews

Good location. Sea, pub and shop all very near. Beach so close could hear the sea with our windows open at night. Kitchen well equipped. Great place to stay.

Mr Adrian M,

Exceeded expectations, and the perfect choice for a holiday with two young children.

Mrs Caroline H,
