For a romantic getaway to the Cornish coast, this quaint cottage is an idyllic option with its four-poster bed, exposed beams and charming features throughout. Spend a day in Marazion (4 miles) soaking up the salty sea air and visit the iconic St. Michaels Mount where rare flora and fauna make up the incredible gardens and the monastery stands proudly on the tiny isle.

With beautiful beams lining the ceilings and natural light pouring into the room through the windows, the living room is a calming space for you to relax and unwind on one of the two sofas. Next door, the kitchen decor is quirky with stained wood features, tasteful trinkets and a rustic dining table for mealtimes. Upstairs, the beautiful four-poster bed sits at the centre of the bedroom with whimsical curtains draped around the edges with a wardrobe, dressing table and drawers throughout the room for storage. Outside, there are two courtyards, one of which is filled with pretty plants and a table and chairs for you to soak up the sunshine.

A walk along a stretch of the South West Coast Path is a must whilst staying in Penzance, with the option to travel south towards Newlyn (1 mile) and Mousehole (3 miles), or across to Marazion (4 miles), to experience the rugged beauty of this part of the country. You could spend a day at one of the beautiful gardens in the area for a relaxing activity, taking your pick between Trewidden Garden (2 miles), Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens (2 miles) or Tanglewood Wild Garden (4 miles). Or why not visit the iconic Land’s End (10 miles) to look out over Longships Lighthouse and soak up the breathtaking scenery on the southernmost tip of the UK?

A great deal of hard work and thought has gone into making Daisy Cottage a pleasant place to stay. The craftmanship is wonderful. However, I was bemused by the selection of books.

Daisy Cottage is a small terraced cottage in which the owners have made very good use of the available space. My partner and I stayed there for 5 nights over the Easter weekend along with our pet dog Buddy and were never left wanting in any aspect. The property is ideally located with a high street within a 2 or 3 minute walk containing pubs, takeaRead moreways, restaurants shops, banks and pretty much everything you may need. Past this small town it is only a further 5 minutes walk or so until you reach the coast. The cottage is also very well sited for going further afield for the obligatory touristy sites: Land's End, The Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, Marazion beach and the charming St Ives. Would we go back? You bet we would. In fact it's already on our to-do list for next year, Buddy has insisted on it! Hide

Walking into the cottage felt welcoming, beautifully decorated & charming, clean & comfortable. Everything we needed to make our stay appealing. The area was stunning walking down to the harbour, views were amazing. We enjoyed everyday we were there, touring local beauty spots. Will definitely be visiting again.

I have stayed at Daisy Cottage more than once and this time introduced my granddaughter to Cornwall. She thoroughly enjoyed penzance and surrounding area and Daisy Cottage itself. We both intend to come again. Thankyou

The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. A cosy little house perfect for a couple to experience the Cornish coast.
