Rhymney Villas is a generously proportioned and beautifully appointed ground floor apartment ideally suited for two, but can accommodate four. The apartment is conveniently located in the very centre of the ancient market town of Marazion close to its award winning restaurants, character pubs and galleries. The sea and sandy beach with the tidal causeway to the magical island fortress of St Michael’s Mount is just 100 metres away. There are fabulous views of the Mount from the living room, which has French doors opening onto a small patio with palm trees, giving the whole apartment a light and airy feel.
Entering the large apartment through the impressive porch door, your eyes are immediately drawn through the kitchen, dining area and living room to the amazing view of the sea and St Michael's Mount beyond. The apartment is deceptively spacious with period features throughout, and is beautifully furnished and decorated, with lovely artwork to provide light, airy and stylish accommodation. The property retains many original features such as wood floors, panelled doors, coved ceilings, alcoves, and fitted cupboards. The long living room with its magnificent grandfather clock and writing desk has a comfy sofa and inviting leather armchair, with a pair of high back wooden chairs strategically placed from which to relax and enjoy the outstanding view through the opening French doors. When the view has become too much, superfast WiFi, DAB radio/CD player and a large flat screen smart TV with Amazon are available provide alternative viewing and entertainment.
Although Rhymney Villas is best suited to two guests, there is a pull out double sofa bed in the room between the master bedroom and the open plan living space (perfect for children), allowing up to four guests to stay. However access to the shower room for everyone staying in the apartment is through the master bedroom, which may be an issue for some.

GARDEN & PARKING: No outside space. Long stay car parking is now on a pay-and-display basis in the main Seafront car parks ,which are 500 yards away. These now offer electric charging points. Overnight there may also be spaces nearer by in North Street or Market Square.

There are steps at the front door which could make access for a wheelchair difficult, but otherwise the apartment is well suited for people with mobility issues.

Marazion is home to the iconic castle of St Michael's Mount and, offering stunning views towards the Lizard Peninsula and Land's End, it's understandably a popular destination. The ancient market town has a fascinating history and claims to be the oldest town in Britain. It's a great place to visit any time of the year with an abundance of restaurants, traditional pubs, craft shops, art galleries and so much more! There's an excellent sandy beach, guarded by St Michael's Mount, that's ideal for swimming, sailing, kite surfing and all kinds of watersports. The surrounding countryside is dotted with little hamlets and quaint villages with the whole area designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - a great location for bird watching and dolphin spotting.
Godolphin Cross, a little hamlet only 6 miles from Marazion, lies nestled at the base of Godolphin Hill within the Cornish Mining World Heritage site. From the summit of Godolphin Hill there are spectacular panoramic views over West Cornwall and the Lizard Peninsula. The nearby fishing village of Porthleven and the town of Helston are a short drive away as well as the well-known attractions of Flambards, Paradise Park and Gweek Seal Sanctuary which make excellent days out for all age groups. The Lizard Peninsula encompasses numerous picturesque coves and sandy beaches for you to enjoy including Praa Sands, Mullion and Coverack. It's an area which remains unspoilt and is definitely a real Cornish gem!
