Clean and modern with rustic feel. Beautiful view.
Convenient location for town centre. Very well-equipped and modern. Very comfortable bed. We have had a lovely holiday! x
Everything clean and organised. Thoughtfully decorated. Layout of the property was excellent. Loved the freshly baked scones on arrival, very welcoming. A lovely property!
Loved the location, facilities and view! Clean, comfortable and all we need.
Lovely location. Great to have a parking space. Great balance of old property in the heart of Marazion but completely modern inside.
Great location and wonderful views. Lovely village.
Pen Vista is a bright, clean and comfortable cottage with lovely beds. The view of St Michael's Mount is wonderful every morning too.
What a wonderful little cottage! My husband and I stayed at Pen Vista for an off season holiday, and it made for the perfect bolt hole! The cottage was sparkling clean, with all the kitchen amenities you could need. The log burner was bliss, and we certainly enjoyed working our way through the Harry Potter DVD collection during our cosy evenings in. Just a short walk from town and the beach. The bedroom had an outstanding view of the Mount, and we enjoyed our mornings in bed with a coffee looking out across the sea. Excellent value, we really couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay! Looking forward to our next trip! Tips: the Kings Arms for a mean in the evening is a MUST! Also, Shanty Baba story teller in St Ives made for a great evening out :)
Marazion is home to the iconic castle of St Michael's Mount and, offering stunning views towards the Lizard Peninsula and Land's End, it's understandably a popular destination. The ancient market town has a fascinating history and claims to be the oldest town in Britain. It's a great place to visit any time of the year with an abundance of restaurants, traditional pubs, craft shops, art galleries and so much more! There's an excellent sandy beach, guarded by St Michael's Mount, that's ideal for swimming, sailing, kite surfing and all kinds of watersports. The surrounding countryside is dotted with little hamlets and quaint villages with the whole area designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - a great location for bird watching and dolphin spotting.
Godolphin Cross, a little hamlet only 6 miles from Marazion, lies nestled at the base of Godolphin Hill within the Cornish Mining World Heritage site. From the summit of Godolphin Hill there are spectacular panoramic views over West Cornwall and the Lizard Peninsula. The nearby fishing village of Porthleven and the town of Helston are a short drive away as well as the well-known attractions of Flambards, Paradise Park and Gweek Seal Sanctuary which make excellent days out for all age groups. The Lizard Peninsula encompasses numerous picturesque coves and sandy beaches for you to enjoy including Praa Sands, Mullion and Coverack. It's an area which remains unspoilt and is definitely a real Cornish gem!
