  • Magnificent, uninterrupted views across the town to St Michael’s Mount and the surrounding coastline
  • Lawned garden with raised patio, and bistro table and chairs

Property code: OC-CHYEAS

A reverse-level layout makes the most of the location for this lovely couple’s retreat – enjoy a fantastic view of St Michael’s Mount as you unwind, along with sought-after private parking and a warm welcome for two pets.

You’ll feel at home the moment you step into this traditionally decorated semi-detached house, which has been cleverly planned to offer amazing views of the sea and romantic St Michael’s Mount. A light and airy double bedroom on the ground floor has its own en-suite bathroom, while conveniently close by is a utility room housing a handy washer/dryer. Above, on the first floor, you can enjoy spending time together in an open-plan living space – cook up culinary delights in the kitchen area, take a seat at the dining table to enjoy meals with a memorable view, then stretch out on the sofa for a night in front of the TV. The living space is extended by a garden that’s laid to lawn with a patio and seating, as well as off-road parking. Visiting children will love the play park just across the road, and if you want to holiday as part of a bigger group, the neighbouring property can be booked to accommodate up to seven.

Marazion is perhaps best known for its proximity to the island fortress of St Michael’s Mount, the two linked at low tide by an ancient, cobbled causeway. But stay on the mainland to explore this historic market town and you’ll find a choice of restaurants and cafes, galleries and gift shops and a sandy beach lapped by the clear waters of one of the South West’s premier water sports locations. Less than 6 miles east, Penzance is home to sub-tropical gardens and the UK’s largest art deco saltwater lido, while idyllic St Ives is 9 miles north.

The view from the property of St Michael's Mount was as good as the website suggested. It was wonderful to watch the changing cloudscape and light falling over it. Magical. Comfy bed and under counter separate fridge and freezer really helped. 5 mins walk to the Fire Engine Pub was a bonus!

A good location with a wonderful view of the Mount from the living room. The availability of a parking space is so valuable when staying in Marazion. Very comfortable property and great for dogs as long they can cope with stairs! We enjoyed our stay and would return.
