This lovingly refurbished, coastal cottage in the heart of Mevagissey with shops, galleries and restaurants just a stones throw away is ideal for a family holiday. Sat in the terraced row of cottages on Church street and with it's own log burner in the lounge and cosy country kitchen, it's a fantastic find. The bedrooms comprise of a king sized bedroom, a twin room and a bedroom with bunk beds and the family bathroom has a bath with a separate walk in shower and w.c. There is also another w.c found down the hall. Outside you can enjoy your morning coffee in your own private courtyard and listen to the sound of gulls overhead with the smell of the salty sea air.
Mevagissey's narrow streets house many gift shops, craft workshops, galleries, cafés and pubs. There are several fish restaurants and, of course, plenty of fish and chip shops! Many of the latter were once the haunts of Cornish smugglers. The World of Model Railways Exhibition is an impressive collection. There is an excellent Folk Museum, and an aquarium, in the old lifeboat house, displaying locally caught fish.

A wonderful cottage in an idyllic setting
Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Gin O'Clock was everything the description said it would be and more! It is a beautiful cottage with a wonderful homely feel to it ... even our dog felt at home. The owners have thought of everything to make it a special place to stay. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome book gave us all the information we needed to ensure we could use the facilities easily.
I would like to thank you for your help and information given when booking your cottage, all four us have had a great time in a lovely cottage (including the two dogs!) it was also so close to all the amenities, even the car park was good and so near! It is great when you find somewhere good and well presented, we own a holiday home we let out near Windermere in the Lake District and we try to ensure it is kept to a good standard for visitors and we love to hear they enjoyed there stay. Once again thank you and look forward hopefully we will returning again.
We spent half term at Gin O'Clock cottage with our twin girls and we all had a fabulous time. The cottage is perfectly located just a few hundred yards away from the harbour and no steep hills to stagger up after an evening in one of the many pubs! The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you need and the FREE WiFi was a definite bonus. The kitchen is truly stunning and the bathroom is luxurious. It was lovely to have somewhere to stay we could take the dog and enjoy the wonderful coastal paths that surround Mevagissey. We found all the locals to be very welcoming and the fish & chips in The Fountain pub were the best we've ever tasted! Can't wait to get back!
