The Looe estuary extends upstream from the harbour into the picturesque valleys of the West and East Looe river and these views are exactly what you will picture from the lounge window of this light and deceptively spacious apartment. Within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants, Looe town will provide your perfect holiday destination with plenty of things to do to keep you occupied whilst you are there. Otherwise, if you wish to venture a bit further take the train and explore the rest of Cornwall with many destinations to choose from such as Truro, St Ives, Newquay and Penzance as the station is just a short stroll away. Well-equipped yet stylish The Old Post Office is the perfect romantic getaway for two!

In the quaint town of Looe follow and explore the charming narrow streets to Looe's popular sandy beach. There are a number of bespoke eateries, gift shops as well as a variety of renowned restaurants and pubs, some offering live music, making this a great holiday destination. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught Cornish fish from the local produce market on the quay, or if you fancy, why not take a fishing or a boat trip to catch your own?

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view. There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own! If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife. Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
