This was our second time on the same holiday cottage and it still felt like home from home! Wonderful!
Lovely, little place well located for exploring the local area. Close to shops and within walking distance to the quay. We had a delightful time and hope to return.
Perfect. Attention to detail ,first class. Cosy and comfortable. Great location.
A well managed property where a lot of thought has gone into the décor.
Excellent property. Location ideal. Could not fault this cottage in any way. Cottage looked good outside but inside was - WOW!
We come to Looe at least once to twice a year because we just love it here!
It has been a pleasure to deal with Cornish Horizons for our recent stay at Fairbank Cottage, Looe, they were very professional, friendly & helpful on all aspects of our booking. This cottage is beautifully furnished in a great location. As we are not residents of the UK, it was important to have reliable booking agents for our stay. Thankyou Cornish Horizons - Mrs M
Could not fault the property had everything you needed and of very good quality. Location was great with a pub and shop a few yards away
We both had a very enjoyable holiday in this cottage, we had every thing we needed, and it was in a great location, close to everything. Also the booking team was very efficient and helpful. Everything excellent!
Wonderful property in every aspect; home from home!
The property is furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The location couldn't not be any better and parking space is a huge bonus. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We will book again.
Lovely property in a great location.
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
