Lindos is a fantastic Victorian house with a large, fabulous, elevated deck overlooking the river and just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Looe. This spacious accommodation is perfect for family or friends looking for a Cornish break close to the coast. The stunning dining area and lounge provide an ideal space for entertaining and on a lovely summer's evening you can open the double doors onto the expansive deck and watch the sun go down. The loft master bedroom, newly-added in the Spring of 2019, with its own private bathroom and balcony, is a fabulous addition to this spacious house. The views from this balcony stretch out in both directions - the most private place to relax and enjoy an early morning coffee. A short walk along the road takes you into the centre of town where you can wander through the quaint streets or along the harbour side and explore the range of gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
In addition to the bedrooms listed below, there is a further bunk room suitable for two children on the ground floor. This room can be booked for an additional charge of £20 per day - please call our team on 01841 533331 if you would like to take advantage of this bedroom. Please be aware that the living and dining room provides seating for 8 people in comfort.
This property also offers a small group discount of 15% for parties of 4 or fewer on full weekly bookings at certain times of the year which means that if low occupancy for 4, then you are restricted to the use of two bedrooms, please specify which bedrooms you would like the use of. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. GARDEN & PARKING: Verandah with views of the river. 2 parking spaces, one is located directly opposite the front gate, the other is 50m along the road towards Looe. All are clearly signed, please keep within the designated bays.

Pets Welcome: 2 dogs maximum; £25 per pet per week.

The property has 22 steps in three sections up to the decking and entrance door. There is approx. 200m of road from the house to the pavement which leads to Looe.
My husbands 60th and he wanted to visit Looe where he had happy memories of. House was in a good location, beautiful views from most of the rooms, equipped with games, dvd's and books, catered for all ages. Cornish Horizons very helpful. Hopefully will be able to visit again.
This is a lovely house in a great location with really nice views and I would stay again and have already told friends about it and did a review on Google maps for it. Looe itself is a lovely place to walk around and we found it easy to get to other locations and both before and once when away when I had to contact Cornish Horizons the service was very good.

Wonderful property - so spacious - beautiful views really outstanding & so peaceful location - wonderful walks in & around Looe. Family of five - loved the games & books for odd rain shower. Will return to Looe - we did not want to leave.
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks
