Step inside this chic second-floor penthouse apartment and you’ll find a warm and welcoming open-plan living/dining/kitchen area that’s flooded with natural light. Slip onto a sofa in the living area and take a moment to soak up the inviting atmosphere, before heading to the smart kitchen area to prepare a delicious meal for your loved ones. Enjoy an informal dinner in the dining area, before heading out onto the balcony to enjoy a glass of something fizzy as you soak up the sea views. Stretch out on a sofa in front of the TV in the living area to catch up on your favourite TV shows before heading to one of the two stylish bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep.

Take a tour of Mount Edgcumbe House (7 miles) – a truly grand historic house with plenty of intricate decor, artwork and furnishings to admire. Afterwards, take a stroll through the house’s impressive Country Park. You’ll find a vast selection of walking trails, formal gardens and coastal paths to explore. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and enjoy a day at Whitsand Bay (1.5 miles). This lovely bay boasts more than 3 miles of stunning sands.

Perfect size for the two of us. Comfortable, light and airy accommodation with good views. Clearly allocated parking. Good location and access to the coastal path.

Lovely penthouse in great location, we prefer west looe as its a bit quieter but still within easy reach of east looe. Kitchen is well equipped and having the table laid out for our arrival was a nice touch. Bedrooms are a good size with sufficient storage for us. Only down side for us was the bath water was lukewarm and shower didnt work on our Read morearrival. The helpline did arrange for a plumber who came within a couple of hours and although they got the shower to work they couldn't fix the hot water for the bath as parts were required. This meant we couldn't use the bath at all during our stay and the shower was only just warm enough with fairly low pressure which was really disappointing for us. Hide

The Penthouse is a wonderfully appointed apartment with the most stunning views. Stunning to sit on the balcony, even in the February sun! We will definitely return as soon as we can

Enjoyed our stay at Penthouse and would return. Difficult to get advice from people with local knowledge of the properties when booking. Needs more comfortable chairs on balcony and mat in a slippery bath. There are 66 steps not 50 as stated. Needs more drawers in the main bedroom and a better rail in the bathroom for large towels. Reported to housRead moreekeeper that toilet roll holder was very loose so we didnt use it. Hide

Lovely apartment, but there are around 65 steps to reach it, so bear this in mind for transporting luggage and walking in/out of town etc. We felt the facilities provided were good, but was lacking drawer space in the back bedroom, also a dressing table and chair would be better here as not very good for drying hair or applying make up - etc. OtherRead more than that - really good! Such a beautiful place, and well worth the climb! The views are stunning, beds comfortable and location fabulous. The one thing to remember is that it is at least 50 steps up and you have to carry your luggage .. It didnt put me off but I was much fitter by the time I went home.

The location of the property is excellent, just a 20-30 minute walk into the main town of Looe. Access to the property is steep, however we expected this, an access statement is provided for this property on the Cornish Horizon's website The main living area of the apartment has plenty of natural light. The kitchen is very well equipped for self cRead moreatering. The bedrooms are a reasonable size and have sufficient storage areas for clothing. All rooms were clean and well presented. We stayed at Penthouse, Lemain Garden Apts, for 3 nights. The view is absolutely amazing. Walking distance to the town centre, which has some very good restaurants and interesting places to visit.
