Please note, there is a sloping path and sets of steps leading up to a short wooden walkway to access the first floor. Although there are 50 steps in total the views from the balcony are worth the effort. Unfortunately this makes the apartment unsuitable for those with mobility restrictions.
The views from the dining table in the Whitsand and from the balcony if the weather is fine, are to die for and well worth the climb up the 50 steps. The service received from Cornish Horizons is probably the best we have had from any other holiday companies in this country for friendliness and efficiency on the phone and we fully recommend them.
Had a great time staying in this beautiful place. New Year's Eve was quite the experience, would definitely come back for more. What a wonderful place in a perfect location. Thank you so much. Pippa our jug loved her stay as well, especially staring out of the window at the lovely views! Thank you!
This property is fabulous in every way. There was everything we needed, and more. It was immaculately clean, had the perfect balcony and it was good to have a dedicated parking space. The bed was the most comfortable one we've ever slept in. We watched the sunrise from the balcony and we watched shooting starts from the balcony - an added bonus. Close to the coastal path was good too. We had the best week ever. Anna Clerey sorted out our last minute change of date and holiday property in just 24 hours. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Cornish Horizons. We would recommend you to everyone. Thank you so much.
A lovely apartment with stunning views. We would certainly come back and recommend to family and friends. The apartment had everything we needed, very clean and comfy (homely). We are very glad we did not cancel [when the Looe Music Festival cancelled]. We enjoyed the [Looe Saves the Day replacement] festival – well done the people of Looe! PS Cornish Horizons were so helpful.
Love this part of the country, 3rd year running we've visited. We love discovering new places, it's so interesting and magical down here. I'm sure we'll be back again soon. We were very impressed with the accommodation and service from Cornish Horizons, would definitely recommend and use them again.
Apartment was very nice and the view was excellent. Go to the Blue Peter in Polperro for lunch. Do the Woodland walk. I would recommend Lemain Garden apartments to anyone.
A little gem. Actually missed counting the steps back going the apartment.
All we can say is stunning. Very clean. Loved it. Did not want to leave a good review because we don't want people to know about this treasure!!
First time in Looe, 2 weeks of hot sunshine and plenty of walking done! Polperro is not for the faint-hearted, but well worth every step. Millendreath beach is a lovely stroll along the coastal path with a delightful beach and bar at Black Rock Beach, which we visited several times!! Apartment was everything we could have wanted and more, every small detail thought of, the tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, and milk waiting on our arrival was a thoughtful touch. 50 steps are worth the effort, comfy, homely, spotlessly clean and of course the stunning views. Will recommend to family and friends. Thank you xx
Excellent accommodation - would thoroughly recommend!
Peter and Pam, we commend you again for such a lovely apartment – very clean, spacious, everything we could need provided. We have had a wonderful week, very hot, but managed to do Looe to Polperro walk – which is a must. We feel quite fit after walking down into Looe most days. Lovely cafe and museum in the Sardine Factory, 1st building on left as you walk down the steps past sculpture of Nelson. Very interesting museum about the history of Looe. We never tire of the beautiful views from the apartment, they are stunning. We always, always feel completely relaxed from the minute we get here. Hoping to come here for many years to come. Thank you. Ps. Thank you for the lovely flowers, milk & biscuits – much appreciated.
High quality accommodation, beautiful views not suitable for anyone that cannot climb 50 steps.
Looe is a lovely little town, which I would recommend to anyone. Good walks and nice and central for visits to the Eden project and Heligan. Our apartment was excellent, with stunning sea views!
Such a fantastic apartment with incredible views. Really enjoyed the coastal walk nearby and the walk in Kilminorth Wood. This was our first visit to Looe and we will definitely come again. The apartment itself was exactly what we needed and the view was excellent from the table inside as well as on the balcony. Wouldn't change a thing! Thank you so much!!
The property had wonderful sea views and was comfortably furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped.
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks
