Most certainly a romantic getaway for two, The Salt Loft is a beautiful, conveniently appointed apartment which is located right within the heart of Fowey, offering the most perfect escape for two. Tucked quietly away, it ensures a peaceful, private retreat yet within accessible reach of the town. Cleverly, stylishly designed containing bespoke, luxurious, comfortable furnishings and Lesley Holmes paintings. A 55” flat screen Smart TV in the lounge and bedroom. Lovingly restored and intuitively designed with its mood lighting, the overall accommodation has an intimate, exquisite, opulent feel.  Collapse into the plush king size bed after feasting in one of the many fine restaurants that Fowey has to offer or switch on the lamp, crack open the bubby and cook up your favourite dish for the one you love in the well equipped kitchen.

SECOND FLOOR APARTMENT:

GARDEN & PARKING: No garden. Parking is not provided, the closest car park is Albert Quay car park just 50 yards away.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided from the White Company. Please bring your own beach towels.

If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store.  Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors. 

There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce.  If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.

If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work.  There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated.  Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.

Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
