If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store. Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors.
There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce. If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.
If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work. There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated. Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.
Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
The Studio has always been an incredible place to while away the hours, with lots of sea air and a great view. And Fowey itself is one of those rare gems that let you step off of the world and breath away from the hustle and bustle of real life. And if your kids like crabbing, we were catching 40-50 on average every time. Enjoy.Mr Jamie Bell - 17th April 2018
The location of the property is truly wonderful and we couldn't have picked a better place. We loved the property and would visit again.Mrs Claire Jackson - 9th January 2018
We thought that it was the first place we have rented (and we have rented a lot !) that was almost perfect ! A coffee machine ,decent knives, sofas without throws hiding dirt, light stylish but simply done. Good quality crockery. Overall a great place. Mrs Catherine Saunders - 16th October 2017

The customer service on the phone when booking was excellent and the cottage and stay were lovely.Prof D Causon - 11th July 2015
Fowey is most beautiful place to stay the river is for ever changing scene. The studio we stay in is as good as being at home. The place is so relaxing would give it a five star.Mrs M Thorogood - 8th June 2015
The Studio in Fowey exceeded our reasonably high expectations, particularly in terms of the views, the lightness of the cottage and the sitting areas in the garden. Though a mere 100 metres from the bustling main street the cottage was so peaceful. Great Mr Pete Corbishley - 24th May 2015
We love staying in Cornwall and Fowey in particular. Walks are beautiful, we never miss a visit to Eden and eating at Sam's is compulsory. We wouldn't use anyone else but Cornish Quay.Mrs V A Fearis - 17th May 2015
